How Did Everything Start?

Our Fashion Store – Byrne Clothing & Embroidery was established in 1970. In this store we always serviced the workwear market even though it was a basic item

all those years ago with only a limited number of suppliers & products. In those days Yakka – King Gee & Can’t Tear Em held 90% of workwear products.

What Happened Next 

Workwear grew with the introduction of Hi Vis Workwear & Introduction of Tax Invoices for personal & company  tax returns.

2015 I purchased the adjoining premises & opened Worklocker Parkes with a 6 metre opening between both buildings to service Workwear & Fashion retail. 

Where We Are Today

A building  extension followed to incorporate the many changes in Workwear – We now include Schoolwear  - Corporate Wear – WorkBoots  - PPE & Health & Safety as well as Promotional Products. Accompanying our 4 Industrial Embroidery Machines & Digital Printer.  We offer a one stop , shopping experience.

Our buying power by having so many stores in our group IWS means I can offer great prices to my loyal customers. Our Worklocker buying power has led us into gaining National Contracts  throughout Australia. Our internet sales are growing & the future looks bright.
